The Ubiquiti airFiber® AF-5 is a high-performance 5 GHz Point-to-Point (PtP) radio engineered for long-range, carrier-class wireless backhaul links. Operating in the mid-band 5 GHz frequencies (5470–5950 MHz), the airFiber 5 delivers true gigabit performance with aggregate throughput exceeding 1.2+ Gbps and a reach of 100+ kilometers.
Built for WISPs, enterprise networks, and public safety applications, the AF-5 features Ubiquiti’s custom INVICTUS™ silicon, proprietary Hybrid Division Duplexing (HDD) technology, and integrated GPS synchronization for ultra-low latency and maximum spectral efficiency.
