TRENDnet 5-Port Gigabit Long Range PoE+ Switch (TPE-LG50)

The TRENDnet TPE-LG50 5-Port Gigabit Long Range PoE+ Switch delivers a highly specialized, cost-effective networking solution tailored for long-distance surveillance and remote device deployments. Featuring four Gigabit PoE+ ports and one dedicated Gigabit uplink port, this unmanaged hardware switch allows administrators to easily power and link IP cameras, access points, and VoIP hardware without needing local electrical infrastructure at the edge installation site.

Engineered to bypass traditional network limits, the TPE-LG50 features a manual hardware DIP switch that triggers its advanced Long Range Mode. When activated, this feature extends your data and PoE+ delivery up to a massive 250 meters (820 feet) down a single line—more than doubling the distance ceiling of standard Ethernet configurations. Housed in a rugged, fanless metal enclosure, it balances compact placement versatility with silent commercial reliability.

Key Features

• Extended 250m Long Range Mode: A physical DIP switch extends your data and power reach up to 250 meters (820 feet) at 10Mbps down single cable lines, perfect for remote security cameras.
• High-Speed Gigabit Uplink: Equipped with a dedicated 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 non-PoE uplink port to ensure smooth, bottleneck-free data passthrough to your core router or storage server.
• 32-Watt Total PoE Power Budget: Supplies up to 30 Watts of dedicated IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) per single port, with a balanced total power envelope of 32 Watts.
• Rugged Wall-Mountable Metal Frame: Enclosed in a compact, heavy-duty industrial metal housing that includes dedicated integrated screw mounts for clean wall-mounted installations.
• Fanless Quiet Ventilation: Utilizes an efficient, passive cooling layout that operates with zero mechanical fans, eliminating background hardware noise in office workspaces.
• Smart Auto-Negotiation Alignment: Automatically adjusts and locked-in connection speeds alongside proper duplex parameters for every attached network endpoint device.
