Description
Scale your corporate network footprints over extreme geographic ranges with the TRENDnet Gigabit Intelligent Single-Mode SC Fiber Media Converter (Model TFC-1000S20). This robust infrastructure solution is purposefully engineered to convert a localized 1000Base-T copper Gigabit RJ-45 connection into long-range 1000Base-LX single-mode fiber optic cabling. Perfect for connecting detached office annexes, remote field security complexes, or campus multi-building backbones, the TFC-1000S20 transmits high-speed data across distances up to 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) with zero signal degradation.
Built to handle intensive data transmission demands, this intelligent media converter processes full-duplex wire speeds up to 2000Mbps while accommodating unrestricted Jumbo Frame architectures. It comes integrated with intelligent physical diagnostics including Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) and Link Loss Return (LLR), ensuring that upstream drops or fiber cut locations are reported to your admin hub instantly rather than vanishing into silent drops. Deployable either as a compact standalone desktop unit or scaled inside TRENDnet's optional 16-slot TFC-1600 rackmount chassis, this converter unlocks optional centralized port-level SNMP configurations when paired with network management modules.
Key Features
- 20km Extended Single-Mode Reach: Seamlessly bridges copper networks over long-wave 1300nm single-mode optical fiber lines at distances up to 20 kilometers.
- Blazing 2000Mbps Full-Duplex Speed: Auto-negotiating Gigabit RJ-45 copper port supports wire-speed full-duplex traffic to remove network throughput bottlenecks.
- LLCF & LLR Fault Detection: Features active Link Loss Carry Forward and Link Loss Return troubleshooting paths to isolate and identify fiber connection cuts instantly.
- Unrestricted Jumbo Frame Tracking: Fully compatible with advanced high-capacity network payloads and modern enterprise Jumbo Frames with no hardware limitations.
- Dual Independent/Chassis Mounting: Functions flawlessly as an individual desktop component or slides smoothly as an active blade into the 16-Slot TFC-1600 Rackmount System.
- On-Board Hardware DIP Switches: Equipped with external hardware pins to give technical teams direct, manual toggling over Fiber Mode configurations and LLR functionality status.
- Passive Thermal Metal Housing: Enclosed inside a heavy-duty, ultra-compact metal casing designed for premium heat dissipation, quiet fanless operation, and flexible wall mounting.

Fast delivery & good response time.
Ordered a RAM card from ICT. It's working well. I couldn't find the same card in other stores online. The price was a bit expensive as USD rates were high when I made the purchase. Will purchase again if I need other things. 5/5. Do you also sell Android ...
