Asustor 12 Bay NAS AS6512RD Lockerstor

Enterprise-Grade Storage with Redundant Power & 10GbE Speed

Equip your enterprise network with elite backup infrastructure. The Asustor Lockerstor 12RD (AS6512RD) 12-Bay Rackmount NAS is an industrial 2U storage solution built for demanding corporate environments, massive virtualization storage targets, and intensive content-creation pipelines. Driven by a powerful Intel Atom C3538 Quad-Core processor and packed with hybrid networking capabilities, this unit combines dual 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) and dual 2.5GbE ports to crush bandwidth bottlenecks while ensuring absolute system uptime via dynamic, hot-swappable redundant power supplies.

Key Features & Benefits

• High-Performance Hardware Architecture: Anchored by an Intel Atom 2.1GHz Quad-Core CPU and 8GB of server-grade DDR4 SO-DIMM memory (expandable up to 64GB) for seamless multitasking and high-concurrency request routing.
• Uncompromising Network Speeds: Features two integrated 10GbE (RJ45) ports alongside two 2.5GbE ports. Supports Link Aggregation to achieve combined bandwidth rates exceeding 20 Gbps.
• Continuous Enterprise Availability: Dual 350W redundant power supplies ensure that if one power block fails or loses a line feed, the secondary unit takes over instantly without dropping network connections or causing system downtime.
• Seamless Virtualization Deployments: Completely optimized as an iSCSI/NFS target, presenting verified compatibility with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V architectures.
• Robust Data Shielding: Features full hardware AES 256-bit encryption alongside native Snapshot functionality, providing your organization with an immediate recovery strategy against ransomware strikes.
• Flexible Expansion Slots: Includes a PCIe Gen3 x8 slot (x4 link size) allowing you to install additional multi-gigabit NIC cards or high-speed SAS controllers as your company expands.
